Overview
PasteKlean (also referred to as PasteClean) is a zero-backend, ultra-lightweight desktop clipboard-cleaning utility for Windows and macOS. Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy explains how PasteKlean handles information.
Information We Do Not Collect
PasteKlean does not access, collect, transmit, or store any personal information. The application operates entirely on your local device and does not:
- Connect to external servers
- Send clipboard data over the network
- Collect usage analytics or diagnostics
- Use advertising or tracking services
- Require user accounts or registration
Local Operation
All clipboard cleaning and preferences are processed locally on your device. Clipboard contents are only read from and written to the operating system's local clipboard in real time. No clipboard data is persisted or transmitted by the application.
Permissions and Capabilities
The application declares the runFullTrust capability because it is an Electron-based desktop app that runs outside the browser sandbox. This is a standard technical requirement for Windows desktop applications. It does not change the fact that no personal data is collected or transmitted.
